Regulations (UN/ECE) No. 85 and No. 134
Regulations (UN/ECE) No. 85 and No. 134 establish uniform provisions concerning the approval of internal combustion engines or electric drive trains intended for the propulsion of motor vehicles of categories M and N (R85) and category L (R134) with regard to the measurement of net power and the maximum 30 minutes power of electric drive trains.
Test to verify rating and performance of electric rotating machines
according to standard EN 60034-1
- Complete test of the electric motor according to all parts of the Standard
- Single tests on ratings and performance: thermal equilibrium,
withstand voltage, overspeed, momentary excess torque, rating plate, etc. - Upon the customer’s request insulation resistance test according to Standard CEI EN 60204-1
- Issuance of test report
CEI EN 60034-1
Standard EN 60034-1 is applicable to all rotating electrical machines except those electric motors covered by other standards.
Test methods for determining losses and efficiency
of electric motors according to Standard EN 60034-2-1
- Tests for determining efficiency with direct method on induction motor,
synchronous three-phase and single-phase motors - Tests for determining losses and efficiency with indirect method on induction motors
- Issuance of test report
CEI EN 60034-2-1
Standard EN 60034-2-1 is intended to establish methods of determining efficiencies from tests, and also to specify methods of obtaining specific losses.
The standard applies to D.C. machines and A.C. synchronous and induction machines of all sizes with the scope of EN 60034-1.
Test methods for determining losses and efficiency of complete drive module (CDM) according to Standard IEC 61800-9-2
- Definition of working points
- Definition of power electric’s efficiency index
- Issuance of test report
IEC 61800-9-2
Standard IEC 61800-9-2 specifies energy efficiency indicators of power electronics (complete drive modules, CDM), power drive systems (PDS) and motor starters, all used for motor driven equipment.
It specifies the methodology for the determination of losses of the complete drive module (CDM), the power drive system (PDS) and the motor system.
It defines IE and IES-classes, their limit values and provides the procedures for the classification of the overall losses of the motor system.
